Ultra-Matt Surfaces with Excellent Resistance
Excimer UV coating technology is used to create extremely matt surfaces with a smooth, pleasant feel and high resistance. It is especially suitable for modern furniture, doors, decorative panels and other surfaces where both appearance and durability are important.
How Excimer Technology Works
After the coating is applied, it is first partially gelled. The surface is then exposed to short-wave excimer radiation, which creates a very fine microscopic wrinkle structure. This structure scatters reflected light and produces an ultra-matt appearance.
The coating is then fully cured with conventional UV light. This two-stage curing process gives the surface its final hardness, resistance and uniform finish.
Main Advantages
• Ultra-matt appearance with very low gloss
• Smooth and soft-touch surface
• High scratch and abrasion resistance
• Reduced fingerprint marks and glossy spots
• Good chemical and mechanical resistance
• Suitable for roller, curtain-coating and spray applications
Typical Applications
Excimer coatings are commonly used for furniture panels, kitchen cabinets, interior doors, flooring, decorative films and other high-quality industrial surfaces. The technology is suitable for both transparent and pigmented coating systems.
By combining an ultra-matt appearance with a durable and pleasant surface, excimer technology provides an effective solution for premium interior and decorative applications.
Haohui Supports You in Establishing the Right Excimer Coating Process
Haohui provides customers with technical support for the development and optimization of excimer coating applications. Based on the substrate, application method, gloss target and performance requirements, our technical team recommends suitable UV resins and helps fine-tune the formulation and curing process for stable production results.
OUR SERVICES
Together with customers and equipment partners, we evaluate the complete coating system, including resin selection, formulation compatibility, substrate, coating weight, excimer parameters and final UV curing. Laboratory testing and practical recommendations can be provided to support formulation adjustment, process optimization and production scale-up.
